Beijing Guoan Football Club (Simplified Chinese: 北京国安) is a Chinese Super League team, and is part of CITIC Group (China International Trust and Investment Corporation). Their current home stadium is Workers Stadium. The current head coach is Lee Jang-Soo and the club's general manager is Li Xiaoming. Beijing Guoan is one of the most noticeable Chinese football clubs with a significant holding by the Chinese government or its subsidiaries.

During the preparation of any major sporting event, the athlete is in a constant struggle to remain focused. One's attention must be fully committed to the task at hand. This sometimes means the denial of the press, friends and even loved ones in order to achieve and more importantly maintain a certain level of focus.
